Who We Are?

For an experienced hotelier who has successfully pre-opened and marketed three of the largest hotels in the world – The Venetian Macao, Sheraton Grand Macao and The Parisian Macao – no challenge is too great for Anita.  Tight deadlines? Large-scale projects? Limited resources? Anita has overcome them all. Today, as founder and the driving force behind BizArt, she works in close partnership with a team of marketing professionals who are creative thinkers, digital specialists, data crunchers, event organisers and content specialists based all across Asia.

With her 18-year track record in sales and marketing for the hospitality industry, Anita is a passionate, dedicated and motivated leader who is driven by results. Her international experience in marketing began in the UK, where she worked with The Sourcing Team in 2004 and collaborated with world-renowned brands such as Unilever and the Reed Elsevier group. She then returned to her home of Macau just in time to play a role in the opening of The Venetian Macao in 2007.

In just a decade, Anita rose to become the Assistant Vice President of Destination Marketing for one of Asia’s largest integrated resorts – Sands China – home to 7 hotels and 12,000 rooms.  Throughout her marketing career, she has launched a slew of successful integrated marketing initiatives such as hotel room sales campaigns, global roadshows, retail campaigns and MICE marketing strategies to help boost Macau’s events industry.  As an experienced  digital strategist, Anita is a master at weaving all the right digital marketing strategies into each campaign to raise brand awareness and achieve real results.

She was also one of just 25 senior leaders at Sands China to be nominated to attend the “Sands China International Strategic Leadership Programme for Integrated Resorts”, where she studied at Cornell University in New York, Catolica Lisbon in Portugal and USJ in Macau. One of her biggest takeaways from the programme is the importance of always increasing the value of a brand while driving sales growth. “Brands and results should always be treated equally. Better brand experiences lead to increased customer engagement and deliver top results,” she says.

Anita believes in pushing the boundaries of creativity in both the workplace and on a personal level. A big-picture thinker, clients value her collaborative, customised and creative approach to both B2B and B2C industries. She’s also an avid learner, so if she’s not actively pursuing hard-hitting data, you will find her standing in front of a canvas, where she produces colourful and captivating oil paintings to fuel her creative inspiration.
